Code of Conduct
General Conduct
Respect for All: Participants will show respect to everyone involved in the Miracle League. This includes fellow athletes, coaches, volunteers, staff, and spectators.
Sportsmanship: Participants will practice good sportsmanship and act in ways that bring respect to the participant, coaches, team and the Miracle League of Northampton Township.
Facilities: Participants agree to never wear cleats on any facility operated by the Miracle League of Northampton Township and will be respectful to ensure the longevity of the facilities for all participants.
Language and Behavior: The use of inappropriate language, including swearing and insults, is prohibited. Respectful communication is expected at all times.
Physical Conduct: Physical altercations are not tolerated. Any athlete engaging in physical or disrespectful behavior will be immediately removed from the field and brought to their guardian.
Parental Presence: Parents, guardians or other responsible party must remain onsite while the participant is participating. Leaving the field during an activity is not permitted.
Safety Measures: Gates to the field must be kept closed at all times to ensure the safety of all participants.
Enforcement
Adherence to this Code of Conduct is mandatory for all participants. Violations may result in disciplinary actions; including but not limited to: removal from games, suspension, or exclusion from future participation in the league. Violations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the Program Management Director and the governing Board of Directors.
